KDubb was a man's man. The Sinatra of an online community full of me-generation delinquents. He lived a bachelor life that most guys can only read about in Hustler. Do you know anyone who went through cars the way that man did? You could be jealous and spiteful, but he'd just shrug it off and wish you the best. The trick was that he knew how hard he had worked to accomplish what he did. He knew that most of us wouldn't appreciate the effort. All most of us would understand was the fruit of his labors.

And like the man's man that he was, he wound up marrying one of the coolest girls you all knew. As much as this group seems to be anti-marriage and subscribe to the 'all women are whores' mentality, he admitted that it was just right for him. Skeptical as you may have been about the future of the new happy couple, they were by all accounts happier than any couple in a fictitious romantic comedy. Best friends who you couldn't wait to hang out with.

However he passed, whatever the circumstances, let's just take a moment and remember the first time you saw that 'Vette with more plumbing than a Mario Brothers game. If OT has degenerated as a community, then losing a member like KDubb has eroded the foundation quicker than any bad fellowship I have seen. This evening, as I celebrate the New Year's arrival, I will take a moment to hug my wife and take stock of the good things I enjoy in life.
