[edit] crew infoboxes

So if there are more than two infoboxes on a page, the page text doesn't start displaying until below them all. With two or less, the page text displays at the top where it should. There's no difference in the div tags. Any idea wtf is going on? I also put the margin things in all of them, but it made no change. Glassuser 00:06, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Do you have an example page that shows more than 2 so I can see what's going on? The margins did make a change, but not for the problems you're seeing.--Spurious 00:15, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
My page? GlassUser Glassuser 00:34, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
For some reason paragraph (<p>) tags are being included with the info boxes. This happened when there was a linebreak (empty lines) above the actual template in the Users template, so I'm pretty sure this is being cause by more suplerfluous linebreaks being included somewhere. I've tried making the templates the first things on the template pages, but that doesn't seemed to have changes anything, however putting all of the infoboxes on one line (as seen on Jennipher) removes one of the spaces. My only suggestion would be to remove everything that's not template from the template's page and see if that works, but that's kind of drastic. What I do know, is that it's not your code causing the trouble, it's empty (or spaced out) <p> tags.--Spurious 00:38, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
In fact, if you put all of th info boxes and start the content on the same line, the spaces go away completely. Jennipher--Spurious 00:41, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Shit. You sir are full of win. Glassuser 00:53, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
It's kind of a dirty fix though. --Spurious 00:54, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
